The Last Four Stock Builds Of The Summer
I wanted to have a quick word. We're building our last four stock vehicles of the summer, and once these are done, my attention turns to getting ready for the October shows.
Thirty years I've been doing this now, and the one thing I always say to anyone looking is the same: come and see it. Open the cupboards, sit in the lounges, have a proper poke about. You can't tell how something's built from a photo.
All four are being built between batches right now, and there's still time to get your name on one and make it your own:
- VW 680 Twin — well underway, due within the month.
- Fiat 630 Twin — so popular the last one sold almost straight away.
- Fiat 630 RD — our flagship rear U-shaped lounge, also available with the rear panel option.
- Fiat S4 — forward-facing seating and a more European feel.

The Selfish Two-Berth
Every IH motorhome is designed around what the industry often calls the "selfish two-berth" concept — meaning each vehicle is built specifically for two people. Rather than trying to squeeze in additional travel seats or extra beds, the entire interior is focused on creating the best possible comfort, storage and living environment for a couple.
The result is a motorhome that feels more spacious, practical and refined because every detail has been designed around how two people actually travel.
Carefully Selected Platforms
IH motorhomes are built on carefully selected base vehicles including the Volkswagen Crafter, Fiat Ducato and IVECO Daily. These platforms are chosen to support the high-specification, luxury conversion that IH is known for, ensuring the driving experience matches the quality of the living space inside.
Proven Layouts
Over the years, IH has refined a number of well-proven layouts. Two of the most popular are the rear lounge and front lounge designs. A rear lounge provides a bright, relaxing seating area at the back of the motorhome which converts into a comfortable bed in the evening. The front lounge layout places the living space behind the cab, creating an open and sociable seating area that converts into a bed at night, meaning there is no fixed bed taking up valuable space during the day.
Built Around You
Every IH journey is also personal. Customers have the opportunity to configure their vehicle with different layouts, interior finishes and the latest onboard technologies, allowing each motorhome to reflect the owner's style of travel.
